Are you passionate about agriculture and enjoy building strong supplier relationships? Join our dynamic team as a Purchasing Agent and play a key role in driving the success of our innovative agricultural equipment manufacturing company.

We specialize in designing and building cutting-edge liquid manure handling equipment, serving farmers with dependable and efficient solutions. As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll ensure we source the highest-quality materials and components to maintain our industry-leading standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials, components, and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and avoid production delays.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to align purchasing strategies with project timelines.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Process purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and track delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in procurement or purchasing (experience in the agriculture or manufacturing industry is a strong asset).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Quickbooks is an asset)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment or manufacturing processes is a plus.
