Trouw Nutrition' division - Feeds ‘N Needs is hiring

Feeds’n Needs operates a chain of 13 corporate stores exclusively in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island). Our 70+ professional staff members are committed to providing premium products with old-fashioned “hands on” service and educated answers to your questions.

  • With Trouw Nutrition, you will be part of a Canadian-leading team in animal nutrition, and #1 in dairy cow feeding in Eastern Canada.
  • With Trouw Nutrition, you will be part of a local team, close to both producers and franchisee managers. Trouw Nutrition Canada East serves the agricultural producers through a network of dealers located across Québec, Eastern Ontario and the Maritimes.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES :

  • Customer service
  • Stock replenishment
  • Routine store upkeep
  • Demonstrate and explain the proper way to use our products and any accessories that come with them, answering any questions and addressing any concerns the customer might have.
  • Examine sales floor when the opportunity presents itself to ensure merchandise is well-stocked, well-maintained and properly rotated.
  • Process, check, stock and inventory shipments, making sure deliveries are correct and of good quality.
  • Provide exemplary customer service throughout the shift, helping customers as needed and demonstrating our company culture.
  • Process business transactions, handle cash, process debit/credit cards and perform returns or exchanges when permitted (note that we allow customers to make purchases using their smartphones).

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Previous retail or farming background experience is an asset
  • Enjoys working in a team environment and has a strong passion for the agriculture industry;
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle several complex tasks simultaneously;
  • Must possess computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Customer satisfaction oriented;
  • English is mandatory and being fluent in French would be an asset.
