Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychometrist to join our team in supporting the assessment and evaluation processes within clinical and educational settings. This role involves administering and interpreting psychological assessments, collecting data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient and student outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection, experience working with children, and knowledge of special education and medical terminology. Responsibilities

  • Administer standardized psychological assessments and tests to children and adults
  • Collect, record, and analyze data accurately to support diagnostic and treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with psychologists to interpret assessment results
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessment procedures, results, and patient progress
  • Assist in developing tailored intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines during all procedures
  • Contribute to projects by preparing reports and presenting findings

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children and/or adults in Psychometric testing is required
  • Familiarity with patient care procedures and psychological assessment terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, manage, and analyze data accurately
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with children, families, adults and team members
  • Previous experience in psychological testing or related fields is required

Location:

  • We are looking for a psychometrist who can either come to our brand new Ottawa office, or has access to their own office to assist with in-person testing in any city in Ontario.

Compensation:

  • Payment of $250-$400 per assessment (generally 1-3 per day), depending on the needs, complexity and location circumstances.

Job Types: Permanent, Freelance

Pay: $250.00-$1,200.00 per day
