Target total compensation (base + bonus): $120,000 – $150,000

Comprehensive compensation package includes bonus opportunity, car allowance, group benefits, and retirement program.

The Opportunity

  • Amada Canada Ltd, a well-established international industrial equipment manufacturer in the sheet metal sector is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across Ontario and Western Canada. Reporting into senior leadership, this role is responsible for leading a regional sales team, driving revenue growth, developing strategic business plans, and strengthening customer relationships throughout Ontario to British Columbia.
  • The successful candidate will lead a team of technical sales professionals, support key customer accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally with service, engineering, and executive leadership teams. This position is based out of our Mississauga office and requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies, forecasts, and business plans
  • Monitor team performance through reporting, pipeline reviews, and regular meetings
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting key account growth
  • Collaborate with internal departments including service, engineering, and operations to support customer needs
  • Participate in the development and execution of sales and promotional initiatives
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for senior leadership
  • Support trade shows, customer events, and product training initiatives
  • Coordinate with international manufacturing and leadership teams regarding inventory, delivery schedules, and strategic initiatives
  • Travel throughout Ontario and Western Canada up to approximately 50% of the time
  • Occasional travel within North America and internationally will be required

Qualifications

  • English fluency required
  • 3–5 years of regional sales management experience
  • 5–7 years of technical or industrial sales experience
  • Experience selling capital equipment or industrial machinery
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/reporting tools
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly

Preferred Assets

  • Experience within manufacturing or industrial equipment sectors
  • Familiarity with fabrication, metalworking, or related industries
