Full job description

We are looking for event marketing and support staff to help market this event by sharing with their contacts/network. They will also help with setup, administrative tasks required during event and cleanup. This will be 5.0 hours of work. 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday July 25, 2026.

This a youth event at University of Guelph campus, University Centre building, Peter Clark Hall where we will discuss Finding Your Footing In University. Event held by charity, Centre for Conscious Awareness - Canada.

Note: Preference may be given to current University of Guelph students.

As Event and Marketing Support Staff, you’ll be assisting with the following:

  • Help market the event to your contacts to recruit 5 to 10 attendees. This is the KEY responsibility.

Note: There will be no compensation for attendees who attend, only the event marketing and support staff

  • Attend at 1:00pm to help with setup of room, greeting and directing attendees to the hall, registration desk, literature desk and snack table
  • Be available to assist where needed during event
  • Clean up after event

Successful Candidate will be:

This is a half day work opportunity only

Compensation

  • $115 honorarium and a reference
