Join us at St-Albert Cheese … the CANADIAN CAPITAL OF THE CURDS! We aren’t just trying to fill various positions, we are seeking individuals that are a good fit. Working in the food industry is one of the most stable industries in Canada. We are situated at approx 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa.

Main Tasks:

  • Process, prepare and check orders according to customer specifications;
  • Drive Cheese Factory forklift safely;
  • Prepare delivery notes and invoices;
  • Carry out various inventory movements;
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and use of inventory management software;
  • Wash, sanitize and maintain equipment as required;
  • Carry out all tasks and actions in a safe manner and in accordance with current quality standards (HACCP);
  • Comply with health and safety, sanitation, quality and production regulations;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Skills and Competencies required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Work experience in an equivalent position;
  • Valid class G driver's license and impeccable driving record;
  • Ability to lift weights in excess of 20 kg;
  • Knowledge of chemical handling regulations;
  • Demonstrate computer skills;
  • Be good with numbers;
  • Be versatile, flexible and reliable;
  • Meticulousness and attention to detail;
  • Certified forklift driver (an asset).

Status: Full time

Work Schedule: evenings or nights with weekends rotation.*

*Schedule can change to accommodate operational needs.
