As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of some of the world's finest wines, spirits, and beers to our customers throughout Nova Scotia. This is a seasonal contract position, ending December 31st, 2026.

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Delivery Driver, you will be part of a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service, and that our wide range of products are delivered efficiently and on time.

Hours: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Extended hours may be required during peak periods. This is a seasonal contract position, ending December 31st, 2026.

Work Location: Bishop's Cellar Warehouse - 3607 Strawberry Hill Street. Primarily driving and delivering throughout Nova Scotia, in various weather conditions.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Delivery Operations

• Deliver products to business and home customers promptly and accurately, ensuring items are in excellent condition upon arrival.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transport.
• Follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time.

Customer Interaction

• Provide friendly and professional service during deliveries, acting as a representative of the company.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
• Address customer questions or concerns during delivery, escalating issues to the Customer Service Operations Manager when required.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and lights.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and brand standards of the delivery vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.

Inventory and Documentation

• Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departing from the warehouse.
• Obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery through designated systems.
• Return any undelivered items to the warehouse and document reasons for non-delivery.

Support for Warehouse Operations

• Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to address operational requirements, as needed.

Our ideal candidate has previous experience in delivery driving or logistics, and has a familiarity with GPS devices and navigation applications. Strong time-management and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Must be 19 years or older. Position requires Criminal Records Check Completion, a Valid Driver's License, and a Clean Driving Abstract.
