Salary range (but not limited to):

47,100 - 57,500

Incentive plan

Commissions & other performance incentives: Expected, but not limited payout potential of 10-15% of salary (subject to personal and team performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our National Corporate SWAT Team at BrokerLink. Working out of one of our Alberta, branch offices, on a Permanent FT Basis.

What you’ll do here:

  • Being agile in all aspects of customer service with a high focus on technical ability

  • Service customers across Canada using all available methods of communication to provide customer with a seamless omni-channel experience

  • Handle incoming Underwriting Carrier requests

  • Participate in strategic debrief sessions to highlight operational areas of improvement

  • Deploy your skills and expertise to any area of the business that requires support

  • Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy

  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals

  • Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes

  • Be Licensed across all provinces where BrokerLink operates

  • Actively participate in training initiatives

  • Provide guidance and assistance to the business as required

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience preferred

  • Alberta Licensed (Expected to obtain other provincial licenses once onboarded)

  • Exposure to Epic is an asset

  • Be Agile and able to pivot with little notice

  • Strong customer focus

  • Comfortable working with everchanging technology

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
