What You'll Do

As a Swamper, you will:

  • Assist operators with loading, unloading, and securing oilfield equipment.
  • Safely rig, chain, and tarp loads as required.
  • Guide operators during backing, positioning, and equipment moves.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and securement.
  • Assist with general labour duties and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, customer requirements, and industry safety standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in various weather and job site conditions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • The ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 3 or Class 1 is considered an asset)
  • Oilfield experience is an asset but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate
