Company Overview
Mergtech Medical Ltd. is a dedicated pre-hospital private healthcare organization specializing in industrial pre-hospital emergency services, industrial clinics, ambulance emergency response, and patient transfers within Canada. We are committed to delivering high-quality emergency/non emergency medical care.

Job Overview
Mergtech Medical is currently recruiting Term Emergency Medical Responders / Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a construction project located near Deersdale on Highway 107, New Brunswick. The project is anticipated to run for approximately 18-24 months.

Camp accommodation, gym, laundry, rec and meals are provided. The rotation schedule will be two weeks on, followed by two weeks off (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off), with 12-hour shifts.

A First Aid Trailer will be provided and the successful candidate will operate from either the trailer or the Mobile Treatment Centre (MTC) depending on how far away from camp the work is being conducted.

Applicants must have reliable transportation to travel to and from the worksite camp. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who takes initiative in maintaining a high level of operational readiness, fosters positive client relationships, and consistently conducts themselves in a professional manner.

Compensation

  • Day rate of $325

Responsibilities

  • Provide injured workers with immediate and professional on-site medical care and advise and/or arrange timely transport for additional medical care when required
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and transport details accurately and comprehensively.
  • Complete all client and employer orientation requirements and certifications within timeframe allotted
  • Complete inspections, attend safety meetings and maintain inventory
  • Participate in company safety committee and attend continuing education sessions online.
