Experienced Derrickhand

We are currently hiring for an experienced Derrickhand at Twilight Drilling Ltd to fill a permanent full time position in Grande Prairie County, AB.

At Twilight Drilling it is our primary objective to ensure that all drilling programs are conducted safely and efficiently to ensure all individuals, equipment, and the environment’s exposure to potential hazards is minimized thus preventing incidents.   • Dedicated team player who can also operate independently with minimal direction while producing results
  • Ability to work well under pressure, while balancing multiple demands

  • Safety minded individual who is willing to actively participate in and support all industry, regulatory, and company standards, regulations, and policies

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Minimum 6 months experience working as a Derrickhand on a drilling rig
  • Minimum valid class 5 driver's licence and a reliable means of transportation to get to and from the rig location
  • Ability to work in a Texas-Camp setting
  • Be prepared with PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, fire retardant coveralls, safety glasses, gloves, fire retardant rain pants and jacket)

Hold valid industry safety training certificates including, but not limited to:

  • Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive
  • Oilfield Loader Operator
  • Confined Space Entry & Rescue
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection for Rig Work
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Rescue for Rig Work
  • Standard/Intermediate First Aid
  • eGSO, PST, CSO, or equivalent
