Minimum Requirements:

  • Red Seal Electrician (required for Journeyman)
  • Registration into Apprenticeship Program (preferred for apprentices)
  • WHIMIS
  • CSTS
  • Fall Protection
  • MEWP/Aerial Platform
  • First Aid

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bending and installing EMT and PVC conduit
  • Installing conductors and cable of various types and sizes; RW90, AC90, Teck90, CAT6.
  • Roughing in steel framed walls.
  • Finishing, installing devices and fixtures of various types.
  • Installing, programming, and testing of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Installing raceways and conductors for ventilation systems
