Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Floorhands to join our team. The Floorhand plays a crucial role in supporting drilling operations, following safety protocols and helping to build efficiencies on the rig. This position requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • General maintenance and upkeep of drilling rig
  • Assist in cleaning and housekeeping of drilling rig
  • Work on the drill floor to assist in drilling operations
  • Set an example to fellow employees by adhering to all safe work practices and policies and train new crew members to do the same
  • Ensure proper usage of safety equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals efficiently.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work safely and plan ahead
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights as required.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques related to drilling operations.
