Job Description: Dental Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Administrative Assistant/Receptionist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the efficient operation of a busy dental practice. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and committed to providing a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.

Office Hours

  • Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Able to use Paradigm software
  • Greet and welcome patients warmly, ensuring a positive and professional first impression at all times.
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Explain treatment plans, financial arrangements, insurance coverage, and payment options clearly to patients.
  • Prepare insurance estimates, submit claims, process billing, and ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, dental staff, and external contacts, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception and office area.
  • Collaborate with team members to support an efficient, professional, and positive work environment.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, addressing issues independently and efficiently.
  • Utilize Windows-based dental software, scheduling systems, and general office applications proficiently.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality when handling patient information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
