Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation. Your energy and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for patients from the moment they walk through the door. You will manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and insurance processing while maintaining a professional and caring demeanor. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software Abeldent.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages.
  • Verify patient insurance information, process payments, and update electronic records accurately.
  • Manage patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff to ensure timely appointments and smooth operations.
  • Maintain organized front desk area, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Communicate clearly with patients about treatment plans, appointment details, and billing inquiries while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Experience

  • Prior experience working as a dental receptionist is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Abeldent is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong knowledge of Dental terminology enhances communication with patients and clinical staff.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Previous office experience in dental administrative roles provides a solid foundation for this position.
