Full job description

Hands-On Dental Office Manager | Front Desk + Growth

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Team Leader/Dental Office Manager to help lead the operations and growth of established dental practices in East Toronto.

This is not a sit-down management position.

We are looking for someone who leads from the front — actively working with the front desk teams while taking ownership of the organization, performance and continued growth of both practices.

You should be equally comfortable answering phones and booking patients, working AR, filling openings in the schedule, discussing treatment and financial arrangements, resolving insurance issues, training a team member, hiring when needed, or identifying opportunities to grow the practices.

What You’ll Take Ownership Of

  • Working hands-on at the front desk and supporting both locations
  • Patient booking, recalls and maintaining productive schedules
  • Accounts Receivable, collections and outstanding balances
  • Insurance, estimates, predeterminations and outstanding claims
  • Treatment coordination and patient follow-up
  • Identifying and filling schedule gaps
  • Hiring, onboarding and training administrative team members
  • Supporting the teams while maintaining accountability
  • Improving front-desk systems and office efficiency
  • Monitoring performance across both practices
  • Improving the patient experience
  • Identifying opportunities to grow and expand both practices

ClearDent Proficiency

Strong, hands-on ClearDent proficiency is required.

We are looking for someone who can confidently use ClearDent for scheduling, patient accounts, AR, insurance, treatment coordination, reporting and follow-up — not someone who will need to be trained on the fundamentals of the software.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone experienced, polished, energetic, resourceful and accountable who notices what needs attention and takes action without waiting to be asked.

This role offers the right person an opportunity to have a meaningful impact across two practices, with the autonomy and support to improve systems, strengthen the teams and contribute directly to growth.

If your idea of management is being involved, taking ownership, solving problems and making things happen, we would genuinely like to meet you.

Please apply with your resume and a brief introduction describing your dental management experience, ClearDent proficiency, and one example of how you have helped improve or grow a dental practice.

Location: East, Central North York
Position: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience

Work Location: In person
