About Us:
Calgary's Best Pubs is hiring! We are a dynamic and growing company looking for a detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. If you’re organized, dependable, and looking for a great opportunity to gain experience in office administration and accounting, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Reconcile daily sales summaries from point of sale system with bank deposits and credit cards.
  • Account Payable: Code, enter, and track vendor invoices for food, beverage, and operating supplies while monitoring food-cost.
  • Payroll & Tips: Process bi-weekly staff hours, manage statutory deductions and calculate restaurant tip-pool system
  • Reporting: Preparing weekly prime cost reports (labour + Food/beverage costs) and month end financial package for ownership
  • Maintain accurate records and update financial databases.
  • Handle employee inquiries and support office communications.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment. .
  • Proficient with Excel and Sage accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong understanding of cash handling, inventory management concepts, and payroll legislation.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
