Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recording Transactions: Posting daily debits/credits, invoices, and expenses into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Reconciliation: Balancing bank, credit card, and subsidiary accounts monthly.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing vendor payments, invoicing clients, and managing collections.
  • Payroll & Taxes: Calculating and preparing payroll, issuing checks, and submitting tax remittances (e.g., sales tax, payroll tax).
  • Year End: Ability to work with Auditor and assist with year end procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices.

**Any accounting experience in the Sales/auto industry is a asset.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
