Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong administrative skills, and familiarity with dental office procedures and software. Prior dental experience is a must to ensure seamless integration into our team and efficient handling of patient interactions.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries, appointment requests, and follow-up calls
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions efficiently
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional in appearance
  • Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and patient flow

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare documentation
