Key Competencies:

Front Office

  • Make a positive and lasting impression on patients, from the moment they arrive at the clinic to the moment they leave
  • Provide outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations
  • Manage all patient inquiries, calls and interactions with a smile
  • Optimize the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
  • Overcome objections to motivate the patient to keep the appointment
  • Provide administrative support to clinicians in a positive, friendly and helpful manner
  • Book appointments, manage potential cancellations, take payment
  • Assist with the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic
  • Manage patient flow at the front desk
  • Assist Marketing Manager with promoting the clinic services in the community

Patient Relationships

  • Establish genuine rapport with patients, welcoming patients warmly and by name
  • Establish life-long patient relationships, ensuring retention and loyalty
  • Demonstrate active listening and empathy to patients using effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate a people-first, problem-solving, “can do” attitude of customer service

Teamwork:

  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by working together as a supportive and cohesive unit
  • Attend and actively participates in team meetings
  • Maintain composure under pressure and during times of change
  • Demonstrate a problem solving, “can do” attitude of teamwork and support

About You:

  • Minimum 1 year clinical administrator experience
  • Prior work in customer service setting considered an asset
