Full job description

We are looking for an Optometric Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. This position will be responsible for providing support to the optometrists, including scheduling appointments, pre-testing, patient education, and sometimes frame selection and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will also be able to provide excellent customer service, and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist optometrists in providing patient care.
  • Perform preliminary and other ocular tests for eye exams.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation.
  • Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage.
  • Triage patient inquiries
  • Process financial transactions and end of day financial reports
  • Assist patients in frame selection

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
