Full job description

ControlChem Canada Limited is seeking a professional, organized and positive Office Administrator to join our Burlington team. This is an in-office position that plays an important role in supporting our sales, service and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be dependable, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and committed to providing professional service to both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

 Provide administrative support to the sales and service teams, including processing pricing quotes, bids and general customer requests.

 Answer incoming phone calls and provide a professional first point of contact for customers, visitors and staff.

 Manage front-of-house activities, including receiving customers and visitors.

 Assist with scanning, filing and maintaining organized company records.

 Cross-train with the Order Desk and provide support with processing sales orders.

 Assist with accounts receivable activities.

 Manage and maintain information within the company’s cloud-based reporting software.

 Process invoices, courier shipments and incoming and outgoing mail.

 Support the day-to-day organization and flow of the office, including office supplies and common areas.

 Work collaboratively with team members and take on additional responsibilities as required.

Training & Requirements

ControlChem will provide required training in WHMIS, TDG and First Aid. The successful candidate must be able to reliably commute to Burlington, Ontario.
