Hygiene Scheduler & Dental Office Floater

Full-Time | Dental Practice

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and patient-focused Hygiene Scheduler & Dental Office Floater to join our dental team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced dental environment, is comfortable working across different areas of the practice, and loves providing exceptional patient service. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping our hygiene department running smoothly while also providing support wherever needed throughout the office.

What You’ll Be Doing

Hygiene Scheduling & Coordination

  • Manage and maintain the hygiene schedule to maximize productivity and patient flow
  • Schedule hygiene appointments, recalls, reappointments, and outstanding treatment
  • Contact patients to fill cancellations and short-notice openings
  • Monitor the hygiene schedule for opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Confirm appointments and follow up with patients as required
  • Assist with reactivation and recall initiatives
  • Coordinate hygiene appointments with the overall practice schedule
  • Communicate effectively with hygienists, dentists, and the administrative team

Office Floater Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support throughout the dental office
  • Assist the front desk with phones, patient inquiries, payments, and appointment scheduling when required
  • Support the clinical team with room turnover and other appropriate office duties
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming patient environment
  • Step in wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients from check-in through checkout

Previous dental office experience is strongly preferred.

Experience with Dentrix or another dental practice management system is considered an asset.
