Overview

Seeds to Sprouts Early Intervention Foundation is a private ECS looking for an Occupational Therapist who will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support the success for the children and families in our ECS programs. The children we work with are between 2-5 years of age and we utilize AB Ed funding to support children within our EAL, Mild/Mod, Mod, and PUF funded programs.

Seeds to Sprouts is looking for an Occupational Therapist who can commit to a flexible schedule that may include, but is not limited to:

Irricana, AB (min 1 day/week); Calgary (min 1 day/week, up to 4 days/week); Airdrie (min 1 day/week); Cochrane (min 1 day/week); Okotoks (min 1 day/week)

Please note OT positions require you to drive between sites. Valid drivers license and a vehicle are required for this position. A T2200 form will be provided for you so you can claim home office, cell phone, and vehicle expenses.

We work as a team and in collaboration with the teacher to develop strategies, coach and support team members and parents in daily classroom plans. Collaborate with teachers to develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Program Plan (IPP) goals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Registered member in good standing with the ACOT.
  • Knowledge of case management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Criminal record check (including vulnerable sector search); must be current within the past 6 months

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $46.00-$55.00 per hour
