Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of visual disorders. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through effective vision care and education. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Full-time or Part-time associate required for busy optometric practice in medical building (Oak Ridges Medical Centre). This stablished practice has a large and consistent patient base. The recently updated office has a modern decor with a professional image. New grads are welcome to apply. For office hours refer to oakridgesvision.ca. We can currently offer up to 5 days a week for the right candidate. Our office closes early on Friday and Saturday and is closed all Sundays.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of prescribed optical devices.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
