Spot 420 Cannabis – Retail Associate (Orangeville, ON)

Location: 88 First St, Unit 4B, Orangeville, ON L9W 3J6
Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent

Spot 420 Cannabis is hiring for our Orangeville location. We’re looking for team members who bring strong retail or hospitality experience and a genuine passion for legal cannabis products and brands. Our goal is to offer more than a transaction—we aim to create a welcoming, educational, and memorable experience for every customer.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous retail or hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Cannabis retail experience is an asset
  • Experience with inventory, stocking, or merchandising is an asset
  • Cash-handling or POS experience is an asset
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

  • Must be 19+
  • CannSell certification required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Minimum 1 year of cannabis retail or general retail experience
  • Experience opening and closing a store
  • Comfortable with cash handling and daily cash management

Availability Requirements

  • Flexible availability
  • 6–8 hour shifts
  • Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Store operates 7 days a week

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify customer age and identification in compliance with regulations
  • Assist customers by recommending suitable cannabis products based on strains, effects, and preferences
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure the sales floor is fully stocked
  • Convert customer needs into sales using established store processes
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant retail environment
