First Position:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) / Reception (Hybrid Role)

Our busy Oral & Maxillofacial Office is seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with strong reception skills to join our team in a dynamic hybrid role. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys both clinical and administrative responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Please do NOT apply if you're not certified/licensed. We are not hiring receptionists, chairside assistants or international dentists. You must be a CERTIFIED/LICENSED DENTAL ASSISTANT to be employed at our office for

Position Details:

  • Part-time: 3–4 days per week (Tuesday – Friday)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Supportive and collaborative team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chairside assisting for oral surgery procedures
  • Preparation and organization of surgical operatories
  • Sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment
  • Assisting with patient care, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative instructions
  • Primary focus on front administration
  • Managing phone calls and providing excellent patient communication
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting office workflow
  • Confidently supporting both clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Certified Dental Assistant (required)
  • Minimum 4+ years of CDA experience required
  • BLS certification ( will provide training certification if you do not hold a current BLS)
  • DAANCE certification preferred (willing to support training for the right candidate)
  • Strong telephone, communication, and organizational skills
  • Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn

Second Position:

Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Sedation & Surgical Care

Join Our Team!

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients undergoing IV sedation and oral surgery procedures in a professional and patient-focused clinical environment.

Schedule

  • Part-time position
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays
  • Schedule will alternate with other RN team members to provide coverage and flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after IV sedation procedures.
  • Record and maintain accurate vital signs and patient documentation.
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team during sedation and surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies within scope of practice.
  • Provide post-operative patient care, education, and discharge instructions.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and potential medical emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and sedation protocols.
  • Maintain emergency equipment, medications, and clinical supplies.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in British Columbia.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Have at least 4+ experience with IV sedation, surgical, emergency, critical care, and recovery room nursing
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Wages: RN wage will be matched with hospital wages
