Registered Nurse (RN) – Part-Time

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to apply your clinical expertise in a dynamic, workplace-focused setting? Join Workplace Medical Corp. (WMC)—a trusted leader in occupational health and absence management for over 50 years.

We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support our Sarnia clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful preventative care that directly impacts workforce health and wellness.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering occupational health services that help employers maintain safe, healthy, and productive workplaces. You will work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to conduct medical assessments and testing programs that support prevention, compliance, and employee well-being.

Schedule:

  • 1–2 days per week (6–12 hours weekly)
  • Weekday daytime hours
  • Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-placement and periodic occupational health assessments
  • Perform vision and hearing screenings
  • Administer spirometry (pulmonary function testing)
  • Complete mask fit testing
  • Facilitate drug and alcohol testing in accordance with protocols
  • Administer immunizations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Support a safe, respectful, and professional clinical environment

Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for a confident, experienced professional who thrives in an independent clinical setting.

Required:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, including occupational health nursing
  • Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain through RNAO)
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of care

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $34.00 (based on experience)
  • Flexible part-time schedule (Monday–Friday, no weekends)
  • Paid training and onboarding
