BC Cancer – Vancouver is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Gynecological Surgical Oncology Program to provide expert clinical leadership, advance nursing research, and champion evidence-based practice that improves patient care across the province. In this influential role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor nursing professionals, and lead initiatives that strengthen oncology nursing standards, innovation, and outcomes.

This position supports the Gynecological Surgical Oncology Program across BC Cancer sites throughout the province. The role will be based at BC Cancer – Vancouver while providing leadership and support on a provincial scale.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a key role in advancing oncology nursing practice through leadership, education, research, and expert clinical consultation. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, operational leaders, and external partners, the CNS promotes nursing excellence, supports the integration of research into practice, and drives continuous quality improvement across cancer care services.

The CNS also provides strategic leadership for projects, program development, and evaluations, ensuring alignment with professional standards, evidence-based practice, and BC Cancer's commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

What You Bring:

  • Master's degree in nursing plus current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
  • 5-7 years of recent related experience working in a health care setting with a focus in cancer care and in a progressive leadership role
  • Certification in oncology nursing (or must obtain certification within one year of employment)

Pay: $108,147.00-$155,461.00 per year
