JOB POSTING: Clinical Neurofeedback Technician/Administrative Support

Technician will be responsible for setting up and running neurofeedback training for the patients of the clinic, as well as assist psychologist with clinical and administrative duties, including general upkeep of the clinic.

Location: West end – Princess Street (most easily accessible by car, but transit route (15 & 19) is also available)

Responsibilities:

Running neurofeedback sessions (training will be provided) and ensuring efficient flow and care while maintaining a peaceful clinic environment. Administrative duties include but are not limited to: booking appointments, answering the phone/emails, scoring psychological tests and filing onto computer, billing, and writing patient invoices/receipts.

Requirements:

Students completing their degree/diploma in psychology or a related field (i.e., nursing, humanities), or recent graduates are welcome to apply. Compassion and patience for people dealing with mental health issues is needed. Previous experience dealing with clinical populations is an asset, as is previous receptionist or customer service experience. Excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently, and willingness to learn about neurofeedback is required.

This position is part-time, 1-2 days per week. Shifts are typically 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
