Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Cook/Dietary Aide and play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals that enhance the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Assist with meal service, including setting up dining areas, serving residents, and ensuring timely delivery of food.
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations.
  • Help with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, and maintaining overall cleanliness of food preparation areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal schedules and accommodate special dietary needs.
  • Provide friendly customer service to residents during meal times, fostering a positive dining atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent time management skills to efficiently prepare meals and serve residents on schedule.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
