Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching life-saving skills and a commitment to ensuring participants gain confidence in emergency response. This role involves delivering engaging and informative first aid training sessions to diverse audiences, emphasizing safety, practical skills, and confidence. The First Aid Instructor plays a vital role in promoting health and safety awareness within the community or organization.

Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive first aid training courses to individuals or groups, ensuring clarity and engagement.
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet certification standards and cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and assessments, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment during all training sessions.
  • Stay updated on the latest first aid protocols and certification requirements to ensure accurate instruction.
  • Manage training schedules, enrollments, and necessary documentation efficiently.
  • Foster effective communication with participants, answering questions clearly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with organizations or institutions to tailor training programs to specific needs or compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in health, safety, or emergency response fields.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Certification as a First Aid Instructor or equivalent is preferred; relevant certifications must be maintained current.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various audiences and learning environments.
  • Commitment to safety standards and continuous professional development in first aid practices.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
