Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated professional who excels in multitasking, thrives on continuous learning and most importantly is a team player with a desire to make this a career choice. Prior experience in IVF or gynecology would be favorable. Training will be provided for the committed person.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent role for a Registered Nurse at Grace Fertility Centre. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the medical team. This role requires on-site presence at the Vancouver, BC location.

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and adherence to BCCNP standards in all regards
  • Ability to relay information effectively and support patients though all aspects of medical and cycle management.
  • Ability to communicate well, verbally and written, for all interactions in a sensitive and compassionate manner.
  • Patient care, medication administration, and monitoring skills
  • Flexibility to changing demands or to the unexpected
  • Competency with administering conscious sedation.
  • Competency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to demonstrate computer literacy and speed particularly in relation to the specific EMR system in use.
  • Experience in fertility or women’s health is a plus

License/Certification:

  • Current BC Nurse Registration (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BN), Nursing Science (BNS), or Science of Nursing (BScN) from an accredited university

This position is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required based on operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $41.00-$50.00 per hour
