Full job description

About Canada Gold

Canada Gold is a premier precious metals retailer and authorized distributor of the Royal Canadian Mint. Trusted by customers across Canada and the Pacific Northwest, we pride ourselves on delivering expert service, competitive value, and complete transparency. Driven by integrity and market expertise, we empower customers to buy and sell precious metals with confidence.

A family-owned and operated business, we are proud to have one of the highest repeat and referral rates in the industry—a testament to the transparent and dependable service our customers rely on.

About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Customer Experience Associate (Precious Metals Analyst) to join our growing team at our Calgary location (4307 130 Ave SE #78, Calgary, AB T2Z 4Y3). This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where no two days are the same.

You’ll be the face of our business—guiding customers through the process of buying or selling gold, silver, and other valuables. Don’t worry if you’re new to the industry—we provide full training to give you the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver outstanding in-person and phone-based customer service
  • Evaluate jewelry and precious metals using our tools and training
  • Educate customers and provide transparent, accurate information
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and organized store environment
  • Support day-to-day operations and contribute to team success

What You Bring

  • A passion for customer service and helping people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and solid problem-solving abilities
  • Comfort with basic math and computer systems
  • A motivated, eager-to-learn mindset with a desire to grow

What We Offer

  • $24-$26/hour + performance-based customer service bonuses
  • Comprehensive medical and dental benefits
  • Paid, hands-on training in a unique and growing industry
  • Clear opportunities for advancement across Canada Gold locations
  • A supportive, team-oriented environment where your growth matters

Schedule

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts including weekdays and weekends

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required

Why Join Canada Gold?

This is more than a retail job—it’s an opportunity to build expertise in a specialized, high-value industry while developing real customer advisory skills. If you’re looking for a role where you can grow, learn, and make an impact every day, we’d love to meet you.
