Published on Main is currently seeking a passionate professional to lead the team!
OVERVIEW
As Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for bringing the Published experience to life every day. Through exceptional hospitality, collaborative leadership, and operational excellence, you ensure guests feel genuinely cared for, teams are supported to perform at their best, and the restaurant operates seamlessly.
Working alongside the Executive Chef and the restaurant leadership team, you cultivate a culture rooted in Care, Curiosity, and Community while contributing to the continued success and evolution of Published on Main.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Champion exceptional hospitality by leading from the floor and remaining actively engaged in the guest experience.
- Foster meaningful guest relationships while supporting service recovery and continuous improvement.
- Empower leaders to create thoughtful, personalized, and memorable experiences for every guest.
- Protect and elevate the Published experience through presence, coaching, and thoughtful decision-making.
Restaurant Leadership
- Lead, support, and develop the restaurant leadership team while fostering strong collaboration across front and back of house.
- Align leaders around shared goals, standards, and the vision of Published.
- Coach, mentor, and develop leaders through regular feedback, accountability, and professional development.
- Contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement, and the long-term success of the restaurant alongside the leadership team.
Service & Operations
- Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring service, systems, and resources support an exceptional guest experience.
- Contribute to labour management, financial performance, purchasing, inventory, and operational planning while balancing hospitality with business performance.
- Support the development and refinement of operational systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the restaurant remains organized, well-maintained, and prepared for service.
Team & Culture
- Foster a culture rooted in Care, Curiosity, and Community.
- Build trust, accountability, and collaboration across every department.
- Create an environment where feedback, learning, recognition, and open communication are encouraged.
- Support the recruitment, development, engagement, and retention of exceptional people.

- Ensure adherence to health, safety, employment, and liquor regulations.
- Maintain accountability for the consistent execution of restaurant standards.
