WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:

The Packaging & Warehouse job is a full time permanent position with hours both on weekdays and weekends, however flexible availability can be accommodated. Opportunities for advancement and upward mobility exist in the Production department into other roles including Assistant Brewer and Brewer positions.

Responsibilities:

Reports to: Head Brewer

• Operates and maintains racking, growler and canning equipment and generating appropriate reports
• Tracks and compiles both ingredient and product inventory
• Build orders, receive shipments, generating associated S&R paperwork and coordinating with the appropriate departments
• Organize and maintain warehouse, cold room and cellar
• Assist in general production cleaning duties
• Operates and maintains filter equipment and performs process transfer tasks
• Assistance with, and as training and experience supports, performance of:
  • Operating and maintains mill, boiler, air compressor, air dryer and CO2 equipment
  • Performs, records, and acts on cellar process measurements of product parameters, maintaining and conducting tasks in the cellar
  • Records utility parameter logs
  • Assists in Quality Management Program and generating appropriate reports
  • Perform general repair and maintenance
  • Research, development and laboratory tasks
  • Participates in product development
  • Conducts administrative duties
• Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Required to lift up to 65kg
• Perform organizational tasks and problem solving
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, team work and proactivity

Job Type & Location: Full-time and part-time positions are available at our new 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art brewing facility in Kenora Ontario.
