ABOUT OUR COMPANY

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Instructor for our Medical Esthetics Program.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching and be passionate about helping mature students achieve their goals.

The successful candidate must be comfortable with an in-person position, working with students and providing practical training at Anderson College location in North York.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, morning classes (9am to 1pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Delivering the approved curriculum for the course being taught, ensuring the teaching is according to the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
  • Adhere to the provided class schedule, ensuring that each required module duration is not exceeded.
  • Monitor each student’s attendance and progress.
  • Develop curriculum supplements as required to enhance learning and retention, while ensuring that Ministry-approved material is followed closely.
  • Arrange and coordinate student practicum, building industry educational partners for the programs and students’ success.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must be willing to work as a part of a collaborative and growing team
  • Exceptional track record in communication, influence, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Previous training and/or facilitation experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Employment References
  • Proven ability to set and achieve goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have experience with Manicure/Pedicures, Waxing, Facials, Massage/ Body Treatments, Makeup Application and the following Advanced Medical Procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years related professional Medical Esthetics experience.
  • Experience teaching adults.
