Since 2016, the Jack O’ Clubs Pub has been the culinary and entertainment hub of Wells. Known for great food, inventive drinks, and warm, genuine service, we’re a place where locals and visitors alike feel at home. As demand grows, we’re expanding our operations and strengthening our already exceptional team. The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook who brings passion, consistency, and pride to the kitchen. This role is essential to keeping our operation running smoothly and delivering the high-quality dishes our guests love. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative, creative team, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support prep work including chopping, slicing, portioning, and ingredient organization
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen workspace
  • Follow all food safety and handling standards
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Assist with inventory checks and supply ordering
  • Help with kitchen setup before service and cleanup afterward
  • Contribute to training new team members in kitchen procedures and techniques

What You Bring

  • Experience in food service or a professional kitchen (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A genuine passion for cooking and a willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking methods (an asset)
