BelPacific Excavating & Shoring, specializes in delivering efficient and safety conscious excavation and shoring solutions across Western Canada. Our skilled team and extensive fleet enable us to tackle any project size, ensuring cost-effective and timely outcomes while adhering to environmental safeguards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loading & unloading building materials and equipment as needed
• Preparing the site to eliminate potential hazards
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the site to ensure it is clear of waste and scrap material
• Provide daily labour support as directed by the on-site team
• Always working in a safe and respectful manner on Norland and client job sites
• Operating as a productive member of a high functioning team

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and be fit to work
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and in deep excavations
• Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry (preferably a shoring site)
• Experience with basic power and construction tools
• Valid BC Driver’s license considered an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

Compensation:

This is a Unionized position with Union wages and will have access to extended Union healthcare and benefits, a Union-sponsored pension plan, and additional training through the Training Plan. Unionized wage range for this position is $35.27 - $42.91 per hour (based on candidate’s experience), plus 10-12% vacation/statutory holiday pay.
