Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments through cashiering systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling responsibilities
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Knowledge of food industry terminology, serving techniques, and food safety practices is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
