Description

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly? Bready Café is opening a brand new location at Vaughan Mills, and we're looking for reliable Dishwashers to join our Back of House team.

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a company that values hard work, strong training, and internal promotion. As a Dishwasher, you play a critical role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently — ensuring the team always has clean dishes, tools, and workspaces ready to go.

If you enjoy staying busy, working as part of a team, and taking ownership of your role — we'd love to meet you.

Qualifications

Experience: No prior experience is required, but any experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or café environment is an asset.

Attitude & Work Ethic: Positive attitude and a willingness to work hard. You show up on time, stay focused, and take pride in doing your job well. At Bready, we believe attitude beats aptitude and hard work beats talent.

Reliability: You are dependable and consistent. The kitchen counts on you to keep things moving, and you take that responsibility seriously.

Pace & Stamina: You are comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and keeping up with the demands of a busy kitchen.

Adaptability: You are able to stay calm and focused during high-volume rushes and shift priorities as needed.

Teamwork: You work well with others and understand that a strong kitchen depends on everyone doing their part.

Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices. Food Handler Certification is a strong plus.

Availability: Open availability for full-time or part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Dishwashing & Sanitation: Wash and sanitize all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to keep up with service demands.

Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dish pit area throughout your shift, including floors, sinks, and drying racks.

Restocking: Return clean dishes, glassware, and utensils to their proper stations so the kitchen and Front of House teams always have what they need.

Waste Management: Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly, and ensure proper disposal and sorting procedures are followed.

Team Support: Assist the kitchen team with basic tasks as needed, such as putting away deliveries, wiping down surfaces, or helping with simple prep work during slower periods.

Equipment Care: Handle all kitchen equipment and supplies with care, and report any broken or damaged items to management.

Food Safety & Standards: Follow all sanitation standards, food safety guidelines, and kitchen safety procedures at all times.

Opening & Closing Duties: Assist with kitchen setup, deep cleaning, restocking, and closing procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
