Truck Driver - Loader (Waste & Recycle)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $28.56/hr + Overtime Available

We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking DZ Driver / Loader to join our team in Bracebridge. If you enjoy being active, working outdoors, and are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!

This position combines commercial driving with hands-on residential waste collection, making it ideal for drivers who don't mind physical work and take pride in providing reliable service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a DZ waste collection truck on residential routes
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Assist with loading and collecting residential waste and recycling
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
  • Work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
  • Complete assigned routes while following all safety procedures
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence
  • Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
  • Reliable with excellent attendance
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round
  • Previous waste industry experience is an asset but not required
