Line Cook — Hayati Lounge

Location: Ajax, ON

Hayati Lounge is looking for a reliable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll prepare quality food, keep your station organized, and work with our team to deliver a great guest experience in a lively lounge setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and presentation standards.
  • Complete food prep and keep your station organized and ready for service.
  • Ensure orders are accurate, consistent, and prepared on time.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper storage procedures.
  • Maintain a clean kitchen, including equipment and work surfaces.
  • Communicate with kitchen and service staff during busy shifts.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling and kitchen safety.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
  • Availability for evening, late-night, and weekend shifts.
