Full job description

Our IHOP restaurants are currently seeking an experienced Front of House (FOH) Restaurant Manager to join our team!

Our IHOP locations in Niagara Falls include IHOP Tower, located inside the Tower Hotel, IHOP Wyndham Grand Fallsview, IHOP Wyndham Garden, and IHOP Lundy’s Lane.

We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual with strong leadership and customer service skills to support our restaurant operations and provide an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant and Front of House (FOH) operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and consistent food quality.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist FOH staff during busy periods, including setting up the restaurant, bussing tables, running food, taking food and beverage orders, serving guests, and assisting host staff as needed.
  • Monitor daily operations and address staffing or service issues to maintain efficient restaurant performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent guest service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
