Join our Beer Garden team and spend your summer serving great beer in one of Niagara's most unique waterfront settings. We're looking for energetic, friendly team members who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
What You'll Do
- Create a welcoming experience, providing fast,friendlyand knowledgeable service to all guests;
- Provide bar service, pouring and serving beer and other beverages efficiently, accurately, and responsibly(no table service);
- Offer product recommendations, sharing knowledge of our beer styles, seasonal offerings and brewery features;
- Operate the POS system,processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly;
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, taps, and counters;
- Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service standards;
- Restock bar inventory, including kegs, cans, and supplies as needed;
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including clearing/sanitizing tables, emptying waste containers, etc.;
- Assist with opening, closing, and general beer garden operations;
- Follow Smart Serve regulations/provincial liquor laws, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for team players with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and who have:
- 2 years’ bartending or serving experience preferred(brewery or bar experience an asset);
- Valid Smart Serve certification(or willing to obtain before starting);
- Strong customer service and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment;
- Knowledge or interest in craft beer is considered an asset;
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and energy;
- Ability to stand for extended period and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally;
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays;
