Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents and obtain signatures from customers
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner to address any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
Skills:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations during deliveries
- Customer service-oriented mindset to ensure customer satisfaction
