We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for our guests through outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager to join our team and lead our service staff in delivering top-notch customer service.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Service Manager at Banter Room, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our front-of-house team, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service. You will lead, train, and motivate our service staff, manage schedules, and work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and manage the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by maintaining high standards and addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient and seamless service.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to maintain and improve service standards.
  • Monitor and manage guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Banter Room policies.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new staff members.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance related to front-of-house operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passionate about teaching and coaching
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience with inventory management and scheduling software.
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
