Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food service industry. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in Indian meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and appetizers
  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain food consistency
  • Follow traditional and modern Indian recipes while maintaining authenticity for Brand Guidelines
  • Assist in chopping, marinating, and pre-preparing ingredients
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as tandoors, grills, and fryers
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Follow food safety regulations & Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • • Assist in inventory management & all restaurant policies and safety guidelines

Requirements*:

  • Prior experience as a Line Cook in an Indian restaurant preferred with 3+ years experience.
  • Knowledge of Indian spices, & Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, Mainly including weekends and holidays
  • Food handler certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a high-heat kitchen environment.
