You will be working with an experienced and knowledgeable team using modern machines and tools. Our shop is bright, clean, and safety is important to us.

This is a day shift full-time permanent position.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Use manual and mechanical sanders and grinders to smooth rough edges on steel parts (deburring)
• Drilling parts
• Pemming parts
• Dot Peening parts
• Assembling and packaging steel parts
• Loading and unloading of supplies / parts on a moving conveyor and / or carts and racks
• Organizing parts as they are processed
• General shop labour duties and cross training in other areas as required

Your skills and abilities that make you stand out:

• Reliable with good attendance record
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull product weighing up to 50lbs
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality of work
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
• Forklift, Overhead Crane and Vacuum Lift experience an asset
• Computer skills
• Reliable transportation (limited public transportation)
• You must be legally able to work in Canada throughout the period of your employment.
