Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Beer Quality & Hospitality Trainer to elevate the standards of beer excellence and hospitality experience across our venues. In this role, you will be the driving force behind developing engaging training programs that enhance knowledge of beer quality, brewing processes, and customer service excellence. Your expertise will empower bartenders, hospitality staff, and sales teams to deliver exceptional experiences that showcase our premium beer brands. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence brand reputation, foster team growth, and promote a culture of quality and hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training content focused on beer quality standards, brewing techniques, and hospitality best practices using instructional design principles.
  • Conduct engaging classroom sessions, workshops, and on-the-floor coaching to improve staff knowledge in areas such as beer tasting, presentation, and customer engagement.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SharePoint to organize training materials, track progress, and manage ongoing education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HRIS and Workday systems to coordinate training schedules, employee development plans, and performance tracking.
  • Lead change management efforts by communicating new procedures or product launches effectively across teams through public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Collect data on training effectiveness through surveys and assessments; analyze results to refine programs continuously.
  • Support human resources functions related to employee relations, recruiting for hospitality roles, and onboarding new team members with tailored training modules.
  • Manage program logistics using tools like Salesforce for scheduling and follow-up; ensure all training activities align with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in teaching or training within the hospitality or beverage industry, with classroom experience preferred.
  • Strong instructional design skills with familiarity in Adobe Captivate or similar e-learning authoring tools.
  • Knowledge of LMS platforms (such as SharePoint or proprietary systems) for content management and tracking learner progress.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and public speaking engagements.
  • Experience with change management strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes or products.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday for employee data management; experience in recruiting or onboarding is a plus.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data related to training outcomes; research skills to stay updated on industry trends.
  • Strong organizational skills with program management experience ensuring timely delivery of training initiatives.
  • Technical proficiency in Salesforce for customer engagement insights is advantageous.
